Executive Search

“Dr. Elizondo served a year as our interim superintendent and  conducted the superintendent search for our district. His years of experience and attention to detail were key factors in his very successful tenure as our interim superintendent. We only wish he had accepted our offer for the position full time.  In addition, the superintendent search process was very thorough as it involved our community and staff; Dr. Elizondo guided us to successful completion. Dr. Elizondo’s steady hand at the helm of our district during very challenging fiscal times were key factors in our district making a smooth transition in leadership.  Our district didn’t miss a beat with Dr. Elizondo as our interim superintendent.” Antonio Perez: Board President: Luther Burbank School District

One of the most critical things a board of trustees undertakes is the search for new leadership and the perfect candidate. EES.INC focuses on searches in small-to-medium size school districts.
Dr. Elizondo and his consultant teams are highly qualified to complete the task successfully, with backgrounds including teaching, site and central office and superintendent experience, as well as involvement in numerous superintendent and administrative searches EES. INC begins the search process by creating a customized and personalized profile of your community and district, developed with input from community and districts stakeholders. The information is then taken into consideration along with the board’s descriptions of the personal and professional qualifications of their ideal candidate.
Based on this set of criteria, Dr. Elizondo is then able to generate a pool of highly qualified candidates for a board to interview and select.
Beyond the search itself, the basic fee includes follow-up consulting to determine what may be needed for developing the relationship between the board and the newly hired candidate.
After the search process is completed, EES can then provide relevant services, including seminars for creating an entry plan that defines for the new superintendent the short- and long-term goals to support either an existing plan or a new strategic plan.
