Dr. Elizondo is familiar with strategies that address compliance requirements for the California Juvenile Justice System. He served as an education monitor for the Department of Justice in the Los Angeles County Office of Education in assisting with the review of compliance education issues within the Juvenile Justice system.
He addressed such issues as instructional strategies, recommending appropriate instructional material and scheduling appropriate courses for youngsters within the three juveniles halls in Los Angeles County.
Based on Dr. Elizondo’s monitoring and work with probation and county education personnel, he made recommendations and developed methods that resulted in successfully meeting the legal compliance requirements.
