Award-Winning Leadership Skills brought Dr. Elizondo recognition for innovative team building and for successful passage of two school bonds totaling $89 million in the Salinas Union High School District.

Active Participation and Leadership in Relevant Organizations. Dr. Elizondo established the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators and served as Executive Director from 2004-2009. He served on both the American Association of School Administrators Governing Board and on the Board of Directors for the Association of California School Administrators. He has also served on a corporate board of directors in the capacity of education advisor.
